Webkit2
Apple just announced on the WebKit mailing list the release of Webkit2. The biggest changes is the spilt process model and “a non-blocking API.” Spilt process model is easily under just by the name: each tab will be it’s own process much like chrome. The “non-blocking API” is a bit more complex. It basically seems to enable Webkit to better enable web app to be true applications. Ars Technica has a good explainion on the new API model. With that, I’m curious to see how SSB’s like Fluid would look in the future.
